Haul | Primark

Hiya!

I had to run into town today to do some errands and really needed some more plain black socks and tights so decided to try the new Primark that's opened in Northampton. BIG MISTAKE.
I literally hate Primark, i always think i can't be bothered to rifle through the absolute mess that primark is and the quality is just shocking and generally it's not my thing! However because this store was new, everything was really tidy and i must have gone at a good time because it was empty so it was actually fairly stress free - which then resulted in me spending about £50. oops.

Here's my purchases of the day!:

Shoes

Pair One -
These are so gorgeous, i love a pointed toe, and i really like the lace detailing i think the whole shoe looks extremely delicate and dainty which is exactly my cup of tea so these were a must, and only £8 ?!

Pair Two -
I LOVE these! A bit love them or hate them i think, but i definitely love them. My friends have bought them in grey and then i saw the black pair out today and just had too. They are SO comfortable, and i think they make a simple jeans outfit look a little something extra. Slightly expensive for Primark at £14.

Pair Three-
Everyones wearing snake print so like a sheep i followed. I'm not that crazy on snake print if i'm honest i think it looks quite chav, but for £4 !!! I thought i would try them out as it's hardly breaking the bank.

Clothes

Striped Top-
I picked this up because i reallyyyy love stripes, i think they are so chic and literally match anything! This top is Navy and White stripes and i really want to wear it with my black coated Topshop leigh jenas. £10

Hat
I never really wear hats, i never have the confidence too and think i'll look silly but a lot people are doing so , which makes me feel more willing to do it. This is 100% wool and only £7! (big for my pea head though, as all hats are)

If you like anything in this post all items are available in Primark currently so go and get yourself something nice!

Girls and Cocktails | Northampton

Hey everyone!

So last Wednesday me and my course girls had a lovely night out for one of the girls pre 21st celebrations in Northampton where we are all studying. I had such a good night despite having a disgusting cold brewing (the morning after was dreadful) and thought i'd share our outfits and looks for the evening! Also have died my hair darker thanks to my housemate Amy which i am absolutely loving, i love being darker!

Here is my outfit for the night:

Apologies for the really dark feet you can't really make out my shoes... but these are my forever 21 pointed heels which i think i've already featured in a blog post with my forever 21 striped dress!
I had actually left a lot of my 'going out' wear at home so just chucked on this top to make myself look a little more glam:
Top: Lipsy, Pixie Lott Collection
Jeans: Leigh coated TopShop
Shoes: Forever 21
Hair Dye: Nice 'n' Easy in shade Natural Dark Brown

MakeUp | Rimmel Vamp

Hey beauties,

Today has been a fairly boring Saturday, the main highlight of which was a trip to Boots. For those of you who don't know what Boots is, it's basically a big pharmacy shop that sells loads of different brands of makeup. Can you guess why i went there?

Correct! I bought myself a few new makeup treats here below:

Just realised everything is Rimmel London, but these are the products featured:

Rimmel Translucent Powder
Rimmel Apocalypse MATTE shade 307 Meteoric Matte
Rimmel Kate Moss collection lipstick in shade 01
Rimmel Brows Gel in Dark Brown

I decided to test out everything bar the 01 Kate Moss lipstick in the look here, other make-up products used are listed below:

Products used:

Chanel Foundation Vitalumiere Aqua in shade 20
Nars Blush in Luster
Rimmel Brow Gel in Dark Brown
Rimmel Translucent Powder
Rimmel Apocalypse in Meteoric Matte
Soap and Glory SuperCat liner
No 7 Lash Impact Mascara

I also bought another BabyLips for my collection, called Dr. Rescue. Here is how i store all BabyLip products i have so far, blog post on these if anyone is interested?

Kurt Geiger | Luxury Flats

Hi Everyone!

I've managed to get a few uni assignments out of the way so thought i would share my newest addition to the KG family, these black velvet flats called 'luxury'.
I first saw these flats in Vogue, i think for the Christmas section? And instantly wanted them, however they were originally priced at about £69 and i couldn't justify spending that on a pair of flats.
I kept looking at these shoes online for sooo long and they went down to about £40 odd pound and then i looked once more and down to £19! So the only logical thing to do was to buy them!

I wore these shoes to work to test them out and unfortunately they weren't the comfiest but i'm hoping after some wear they will be worn in.

Here are the shoes:

These shoes are perhaps a little love them or hate them, but i just really thought they were different and a little quirky but classy! They are black velvet, so so soft, pointed toe and have a black ribbon with an assortment of silver gems.

I decided to wear them with the following outfit:

Top: Primark
Trousers: TopShop
Shoes: Kurt Geiger 'Luxury' £69 (£19) for me!

Urban Decay | Vice Palette

Experimenting with my new palette:

This is my first make-up / beauty related post so bare with me but i was so lucky and happy to get the new Urban Decay vice palette for one of my 21st presents! If you've never bought Urban Decay before, they are exceptionally good for their eyeshadows. All the shadows are so soft to touch (some are quite scratchy/rough feeling?) and the colour that they look, is the colour it comes out on your eyes. In other words all their eyeshadows are extremely pigmented and super easy to mix and blend if you're somebody who likes experimenting with different looks.

Here are the colours inside:

I created my following look with a mixture of 'defy' and 'bondage' on the outer corners of my eye, 'downfall' as my base layer, a little of 'reign' to blend things together and then 'bobby dazzle' on my brow bone and in the inner corners of my eyes. This is what it looked like before and after:

Before (eyebrow filled with brown shadow)
After, Just with Vice Palette

I then finished off the eye look with a black liquid liner cat eye (getting the hang of this better now so excuse me if this picture is uneven). And of course some black mascara!

To finish the look i put my hair in a half up and half down hairstyle (Like ariana grande minus the curls) and just applied a clear lip balm to my lips. My skin has a thin layer of Chanel foundation and a little Nars Blush in the shade 'luster'. Here it is! :

PART 2:

To go with this look i decided to share what i wore, as i got a chance to wear my new boots. These boots i am so proud of, as i managed to get a pair of Carvela Kurt Geiger's from £150 to only about £38/39 ! Real leather too! I am not sure they're for sale anymore as i got them in the sale but the shoe is called 'Scandal'.

Scandal Carvela KG £150.00
