Vintage pinks and browns

Dress: River Island £22, Bag: Marc Jacobs, Shoes: Asos £16, Watch: Miss Selfridge £25, Lipstick: Topshop £8

Dress: After seeing this dress i've bought it myself! Perfect for a classy girly style without going over the top. Pinks are really in right now and is my all time favourite colour so this was a must have for me. The pretty detailing by the collar really goes back to the sixties where collars were a big fashion statement, and i love this modern twist. Affordable too at only £22!

This dress is fairly summery so for colder weather i would wear it with nude tights, and this gorgeous simple topshop blazer i found in white:

Bag: Marc Jacobs is a well known brand, and an expensive one at that. The site i found it on was american so i'm not too sure about the British retail price, however as it's designer i wouldn't think it's within student budget! I thought the colour really complimented the dress, and the satchel style again brings back that vintage era.

Shoes: Found on asos, one of the largest online shopping sites, at a very affordable price. The ballet slippers are a favourite style of mine, and the perfect girly touch to a dainty dress. The shoes have a laced detail on them which i thought suited with the dress collar.

Watch: I never really wear watches, but i think it looks adorable with this ensemble. It brings a bit of glamour to the outfit with the sparkle on the watch face, and definitely would look better in the gold i've chosen, over a silver watch.

Lips: Topshop have always been a favourite of mine for lipstick. As well as being in my price range, the quality of the lipstick is super soft, and practically glides on during application. This lipstick is called 'Nevada' and i thought the colour flattered the whole look together.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog Tutufancy! I have just started a Fashion Marketing course at Northampton University and blogging will become a huge part of it. The types of posts I will be writing are what looks and trends I'm liking, my outfits, updates on anything exciting on my course, and a bunch of other fashion related posts.

I'd also like to include posts about current products I'm enjoying, so will probably blog about beauty as it's another interest of mine and similar to the fashion field. I already follow a lot of bloggers so I'm hoping I can someday become as interesting to read as they have.

I will aim to blog regularly and I hope you read my many blog posts to come!
