What to wear to a job interview? | Pinks and Florals

Hi everyone! So today i had a job interview and i wore an outfit that i had previously worn, remembering how much i loved it all together and how smart it looked!.
When you hear the word interview you automatically think suited and booted which really isn't the case, yes you have to dress smart but you are allowed to bring in your own style, you look boring otherwise and you're there to impress!

I have just recently bought this absolutely stunning blazer from River Island, i am so so in love with it and it's in my favourite colour ever! The picture has made it look more peach than it is, it's a lovely pink shade.
Available at this link if you wish to purchase! :

It's currently retailed at £45.00 and feels so lovely to wear.

The top is from Miss Selfridge in the petite range, and is a really pretty floral print cami top with ruffles along the top, front and back.
The top is currently sold out, but if you want a closer look you can find it here:

I have found the exact same top except its just plain pink with no print, which is still available if you wish to buy!

Remember these are from the petite range, i have hardly any body length so i need these to be shorter.

I simply paired the two items together with some plain black leggings from H&M, and my generic new look handbag (so old i need to throw it away) which was £20.
To complete the look i wore my new pumps from Primark, a huge bargain at only £4-£6 pound! These shoes are a lovely style, although it's a pointed toe, they are extremely comfortable and fit my wider feet. Very smart shoes for an interview, without looking too casual.

I hope this has helped you if you ever come across an occasion that you need to dress smartly for!

Sunny Sunday | Black and Yellow

So today's post is a little later than planned but i've only just come around to uploading the photos my sister kindly took earlier! Sundays are always lazy days for me, but seeming as i currently have nothing to do, it was extra lazy! I did however go on another canal walk, we live in the countryside so its a must do on a summers day. I am loving the heat!

I just wore a casual outfit, by pairing this beautiful cross backed canary yellow top with my old favourite black and white patterned shorts. (Tucked in) To finish it off i added a gold linked chain necklace, cat eye turtle shell glasses, and black and gold sandals, take a look:

Top: River Island, £8
Sunglasses: River Island, £10
Shorts: H&M, £10
Shoes: Primark, £6
Necklace: Miss Selfridge, £10

I also thought i would add in a little FOTD, (Face of the day) I usually wear my eye liner as winged eyeliner so today i decided to experiment and also used a new product on my lips. I went for golden shades on my eyes to match my outfit, and used a light pink blush. All products will be listed below!

I started off by using my daily concealer which is Collection 2000 lasting perfection, in medium warm shade, i put this under my eyes and on any red blemishes i could see. I then took my daily foundation, Rimmel London, Wake me Up, in shade 200 Soft beige, and did a really light layer all round my face, and a little down my neck to cover up any lines. (This foundation is really light and feels like a moisturiser). I applied this with my Real Techniques Stippling brush!. I then dusted areas of my face with Rimmel London's Bronzer, and added a bit of pink to my cheeks with a blush from a kit by Kryolan. (Charles Fox store in London).

For my eyes i used my Urban Decay Naked palette, (The first one) and used the golden shades over my whole lid, whilst using a darker brown, (darkhorse shade) for the crease. I highlighted my eyes with the shade Virgin. I then added a really thin line of black liquid eyeliner over my top lids. (Rimmel London, Glam Eyes) To finish i put on some mascara, in intense black shade. (Maybelline New York, Pulse Perfection). Sometimes i then also use my No.7 Volumising mascara to add a tad more volume!

To finish the whole look i swept a little brown eyeshadow using an angled brush, through my eyebrows. (Kryolan Palette) And added Baby Lips Maybelline 'Peach Kiss' to my lips, as well as a peach MAC lipgloss i got from a friend.

Casual Saturday | Zara Shorts

Hi guys! So today i was actually pretty productive, and for once i got up early. This is because i had an eyebrow appointment at 9 so i didn't get up voluntarily! After my brows were done (will post a picture with a makeup look soon). I took my next door neighbour's dog for a reallllyyy long walk, so decided to wear a pretty casual outfit for the day! Again it's a summery outfit, courtesy of a boiling hot day that the British weather has thankfully given us. (Pleaseee continue).

Again i got my younger sister to take my photos, shes actually a really good photographer and i can't do them myself so it works out pretty well. She has actually just started a blog her self, www.blossomconfetti.blogspot.co.uk if you would like to have a look and see what she is writing!

So here is my outfit of the day:

Shorts: Zara (old, unsure on price)
Top: New Look, around £8? I have tied it in these photos, it is a drape top
Shoes: Primark, around £8
Necklace: River Island, again £8!
Sunglasses: River Island, £10

60's Summer Style | River Island LE

Hi everyoneee, so i haven't blogged for literally months and months which is awful of me but i finally have an iphone so can actually start taking pictures! (Still don't have an actual camera though).
I have also finally finished my first year at university so have more free time to sit and blog. I have also set up a new instagram account under the name : tutufancy_  personalised for my blog only if you wish to follow my updates. (They will be more frequent on there)

So here is my outfit of the day, i bought this dress way back in october time and haven't had a chance to wear it until this summery weather the UK is finally having!. This dress is from River Island but was limited edition so i'm not sure where you would be able to find it now unfortunately. I'm so in love with the crochet collar detail, i love anything with a collar and i think it gives it a really sophisticated, and 60's look.

The only down side with this dress is that it's extremely see through! Even right down at the bottom so i am wearing a nude full body undergarment from Marks and Spencer underneath it to avoid any embarrassing moments.

My younger sister took these photos for me in our garden:

Dress: River Island £22
Shoes: New Look (so old i have no idea how much, not expensive though!)
Sunglasses: River Island £10
